OUTBREAK

Supergirl #23

08.21.2013
Michael Alan Nelson, Diogenes Neves, Mahmud Asrar

7/10

This series seems to be moving along at a steady clip and this issue had some stark moments towards the end that were painful but made it a worthwhile read. It’s following in the tradition of Superman comics being totally ridiculious and over the top and that’s what I like. The draftsmenship isn’t anything to write home about and the plotting could all go south any minute, but as for now I’m definitely along for the ride. I never much liked Kara before but this comic has started to get me on her side.
